Patrick Jayet is technical lead at AXA GETD with a focus on Geospatial and Computer Vision. Aerial and satellite image understanding is catching traction, hence Patrick worked on several studies and projects in this field in the last two years, mainly for geocoding improvement, natcat assessment and risk estimation. Patrick studied Computer Science at ETH Zurich, he worked as a Software Engineer and consultant in Zurich for various Swiss finance and telco companies before coming back to his hometown Lausanne and starting at AXA’s innovation lab on EPFL campus about five years ago.
